Innocent Love is a single-effort manga scanlation group that first opened on September 26, 2005. I created Innocent Love out of my love and interest for manga and my wish to contribute to the scanlating community. It is also a means to practice and hone my language and translation skills - Chinese, as my native language, and Japanese, as one that I strive to learn. That being said, I will mostly translate from Chinese, since I am more familiar with it, but I will occasionally attempt to translate more Japanese as we go on. However, if you spot any oddities in translation, feel free to let me know and I will fix it and release a version two.
I named this project Innocent Love because I want to focus mainly on shoujo manga, which is usually centres around pure and innocent romance. No smut, no ecchi, just manga that is "simple and clean." But, I won't be limiting myself to only shoujo either. In other words, I'll scanlate whatever catches my interest, provided that it does not take up too much of my time.
Currently, the only member in this group is me. I do all the scanning, translating, and editing. I'm not attempting to recruit more people in order to have a full-fledged scanlation team, as Innocent Love was never meant to be a scanlation group, but rather a pet project or hobby done to my leisure. With that said, I like to go at my own pace and not feel pressured with deadlines and release races. I don't want to fill my pages and releases with recruitment requests.
